The story behind Tradleather
Tradleather is run by a small editorial team who share an interest that we want to share. There are not many of us, and that is actually the point: we do not need to fill space for the sake of it.
- Clarity: Plain English rather than insider language.
- Respect for your time: We never write longer than necessary.
- Curiosity: The best articles start with a perfectly ordinary question.
We never talk down to anyone – we assume you are smart, just busy, and we explain what needs explaining. If something is unclear, please tell us – that is the kind of feedback we live on.
When we build on the work of others, we link to it, so you can check for yourself. If we get it wrong, we correct it openly. It is not rocket science – just good practice.
Some topics need 300 words, others 3,000. A simple question gets a short answer – and a complex subject gets the space it needs. The main thing is that you get further.
We want to be the place you come back to when you need a clear answer. That presupposes honesty – even when the answer is boring, and keeping the content in good shape.
Got a question, a correction or an idea? Write to us via the contact page – we will get back to you as soon as possible.
